Psalm 25:14 – The LORD confides in those who fear him

Praise the Lord           The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them           When we think of the word “fear” images of terror may come to mind. But that is not the kind of fear the Psalmist is referring to. This kind of fear is a healthy respect for the power of a thing, like one would have toward a huge waterfall or a great height. When we respect the power that God has, our God does something unusual – He lets us know his thoughts. To respect the power of God become the entryway into His dealings with His creation.                 Jeba
