Psalm 2:1-2 – Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?

Praise the Lord           Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.           This was true thousands of years ago is still true today – people don’t want the rule of God in their life. The claims of Scripture are so vast that one must either bow in obedience or try to figure out ways to rebel against the works of God. Yet even in our rebellion God provided a way for us. His anointed One Jesus Christ. Jesus obeyed the Father fully to open the door of God’s mercy toward our conspiracies of disobedience. How about us? Are we bowing or are we avoiding?                 Jeba
