Romans 4:13 – righteousness that comes by faith

Praise the Lord         It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith               Abraham stands as a primary example of the gospel. Abraham did not receive God’s favor because of his looks or abilities. It was simply that when God made a promise Abraham believed it, even when that promise was so huge Abraham couldn’t comprehend it. Though this promise wasn’t realized until much later, Abraham still lived his life in line with the promises of God. This is what made Abraham righteous. Not his actions, but the deep trust that guided all of those actions toward God                           Jeba
