Psalm 3:7 – Deliver me, O my God!

Praise the Lord           Arise, O LORD! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked             Doesn’t this prayer jar you? But the raw honesty of this Psalm should liberate you as well. The writer is pouring out his soul to the Lord. This is honest prayer – and it gives us a template to be real with God. How do you really feel about the situation? Since we serve a God who sees our innermost being, when we get honest with God we are also acknowledging that He sees it all anyway. Don’t limit your prayer life to sanitized prayer. Pour out your soul! As you do, you’ll find that God will bring deliverance and a blessing on you.                 Jeba
