Numbers 6:22-26 – The LORD bless you and keep you

Praise the Lord           The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “‘ “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”             This famous blessing is still used today in many churches and synagogues. Notice that this blessing does not come from Moses, but from Lord. And what does God want His people to know? That God wants to bless us and keep us. That he wants us to know Him so that we will understand that He is gracious and filled with peace. Is this your view of God?
