Micah 4:3 – Nation will not take up sword against nation

Praise The Lord       He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.           This vision of the end times is something that we all long for. If we asked most people to describe a perfect world, we would probably get similar answers: no more wars, poverty is gone, sorrow would no longer exist. Interestingly enough this is how the Biblical narrative begins and how it ends. Our longings for a better world are a sign that we were made for more that what this current earth has to offer .               Jeba
