Matthew 5:8 - Blessed are the pure in heart

Praise the lord

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God

Jesus tells us that our greatest challenge and opportunity stems from the condition of our heart. Is your religion dead and intellectual? One can change their mind and way of life without changing their heart. Do you want to see God? Humble yourself before God and He will lift you up. Knowledge can be important, but it is no substitute for purity. The gospel goes for the heart above all else. Once God has our heart, our mind will follow.
