Praise the lord

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy

Mercy was unique to the Roman culture of Jesus day. Yet Christians conquered the sword of Rome with mercy. They picked up the dying; they cared for the elderly and widows; they reached out to the marginal in society. When we are able to bring mercy to the weak and helpless in a community we create a culture that we benefit from – for we need mercy as much as anyone else.
