Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man Do you want to have favor and a good name? This proverb gives us an important insight: put others around you as top priority and make sure that you are seen as someone who is faithful. To bind these qualities around your neck is to have them with you always. Loving others and being consistent in our work will make one invaluable to any organization or group of friends. Galatians 3:28-29 – for you are all one in Christ Jesus

Praise the Lord There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. As Paul is addressing the Galatians legalism he talks about being heirs of God’s promises. This is radical in the thinking of the ancient world: both the empowered (Jew, free, male) and the disempowered (Greek, slave, female) of that day were in the same standing before God. Paul was being clear: the gospel breaks down the barriers and turn outcasts into heirs. This was a major shift in the thinking of the ancient world.
